The display improves safety with clear readings in low light, bright light or anywhere in between. It allows the user to step through instrument settings and functions with an intuitive menu and the instrument’s five-way navigation button. Rugged and Reliable

This tough little unit has a high-impact polycarbonate housing and protective rubber overmold. The MX4 is also third-party certified IP66 and IP67. That means it is dust-tight to withstand the dirtiest environments. And, it is water resistant; passing both water jet and submersion tests.

Powerful Alarms

To warn users in hazardous areas, the unit uses a combination of three alarms: ultra-bright LEDs; 95 db audible alarm; and a powerful vibrating alarm.

For example, iNet keeps people safe by providing visibility into alarms, exposure and usage. It keeps gas detectors working without costly and time-consuming maintenance. And with iNet, you won’t have to buy the MX4. So why do it?

Capable of monitoring from one to five gases through diffusion or sample draw, the BM25 packs the benefits of a fixed-system area monitor into an easily transportable, yet rugged instrument.

Designed for team protection or area surveillance, the unit is most suitable for perimeter monitoring, rig overhauls, and mobile or short-term work in areas where fixed detection systems are not suitable.

There are 17 interchangeable “smart” sensor options available for the BM25, making the system easily adaptable to a variety of applications and industries. When the BM25 detects a hazardous level of oxygen, toxic or combustible gas, the top-mounted beacon sends a flashing, bright signal in all directions while emitting a powerful, 103 dB siren alarm.

The BM25 can be used as a stand-alone monitor or wired so that alarm signals transfer from one unit to another. This setup can create a safety perimeter around a detected atmospheric hazard, or transmit a manually initiated emergency signal over a wide area.

The BM25 comes standard with a high capacity nickelmetal-hydride battery pack offering up to 170 hours of continuous runtime. Long-term area monitoring is possible in hazardous locations with an intrinsically safe trickle charge power supply. Also standard are STEL and TWA readings and nearly four months of datalogging capacity for a five-gas configuration.

Industrial Scientific is pleased to offer the M40, a versatile multi-gas monitor capable of detecting O2, CO, H2S and combustible gases for a wide variety of hazardous and confined space applications.

The M40 is housed in a rugged, impact-resistant case to provide superior performance and durability in harsh environments and resistance to radio frequency and electromagnetic interference. Its four button interface provides simple, intuitive operation and calibration, and the M40’s five-second “Off” feature prevents unintentional shut-offs. The unit’s compact size and economical price make it an ideal personal monitoring instrument.

Other standard features include a vibrating alarm, lithium-ion battery, peak/hold readings, large LCD, 75 hour datalogging capacity and belt clip. An optional compact parasitic sampling pump enables remote sampling from up to 50 feet away. The M40 carries a two-year warranty.

The MX 2100 multigas detector features a unique configuration allowing 4 measuring positions as standard for measuring 6 different parameters.The MX 2100 adapts to the needs of your activity, providing the following detection combinations :

Universal explosimetry reading

Fitted with a sensor specifically designed for measuring most common explosive gases on a scale of 0 to 100 % LEL, the MX 2100 is practically a universal explosimeter. The MX 2100 also has a library of 32 pre-programmed gases for measurement of a dedicated gas.
Choice of toxic gas and oxygen measurement

With the possibility of changing sensor blocks without adjustment you can choose from a large selection of sensors and use 4 of them simultaneously (with the CO/H2S option). This feature makes the MX 2100 a genuine portable analysis laboratory.
Conformity with the ATEX Directive

The MX 2100 meets all the new requirements of the ATEX Directive 94/9/EC giving it a very high safety level. This Category 1 device can be operated in zone 0 and with any gas or vapour concentration. This special feature taken with its other characteristics makes it the best performing device on the market.
Total work environment monitoring

Graphical display
The LCD display unit features automatic back-lighting for alarms or faults. Its is a graphical display for easier measurement readout.

Warning lights
A set of warning lights on the top of the unit displays alarms in all directions and in any work environment.

The MX 2100 can be used to print a review of all events and measurements carried out. The variable storage interval can be set by the user who has the possibility of storing up to 200,000 records**.
Work environment monitoring can be adapted to suit the activity.The safety manager and user have all the advantages of a highlydeveloped management tool.

– 2 instantaneous thresholds per channel in EXPLO and TOX modes

Trouble alarms
• Continuous luminous and audible signal common to all channels :
– 20 % over alarm in negative mode
– 120 % over alarm in TOX and oxygen mode
– 100 % over alarm in EXPLO mode

• At a single press of a tactile pad the MX 2100 runs selfdiagnostics and indicates any anomalies; it continuously analyses the gases for which it has been programmed. Auto-zero is possible on demand or as a charger output (option). A quick operation allows the user to change the gas to be detected. The data-logging function allows storage of events and measurements with variable storage interval. Multi-user location identification is available with 32 texts of 16 characters.

• COM 2100 software is used to supervise and maintain the device :
– text display of measurements and channel parameters

• The MX 2100 can be linked to a PC via an infrared port for use on a suitably equipped computer. An adaptor module is available for other computers.
